Manufacturing Process Technician - NS

ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician - NS. This is an on-site 6pm-6am Alternating (Night Shift) for a position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in New Albany, OH. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Summary:

This role involves performing equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting on automated machinery to maintain uptime and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The successful candidate will work within a cGMP environment, follow standardized operating procedures, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements. This position is for a fully onsite night shift, working from 6pm to 6am on an alternating schedule. Responsibilities:

Perform equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting to meet all standards for safety, quality, and efficiency

Maintain machine uptime, perform any fault clearing, and clear stoppages on automated equipment

Carry out basic, routine manufacturing process operations such as dispensing raw materials, material reconciliation, and line clearance

Use human machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify alarms and correct line stoppages

Troubleshoot and identify potential solutions for mechanical errors, safety issues, or operating inefficiencies

Use computer systems to support material inventory (SAP transactions) and electronic batch records

Safely follow standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

Partner with cross-functional teams to help drive improvement opportunities

Train fellow staff on manufacturing processes and equipment use Requirements:

High school/GED and 1 year of work or military experience OR an Associate's degree

Hands-on experience with the operation, setup, cleaning, and monitoring of manufacturing and process equipment

Ability to troubleshoot equipment/system issues and clear stoppages to maintain uptime and quality

Basic mechanical aptitude with an understanding of automated systems, controls, and electronic batch records/equipment software

Experience working in a GMP or other regulated environment

Good attendance record and a positive attitude

Only candidates available and ready to work directly as ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position. Pay range: up to $26.79 per Hour
