Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will play a key support role throughout all phases of light industrial project delivery. Responsibilities include:

Support the successful delivery of light industrial construction projects from pre-construction through completion.

Assist in managing day-to-day project operations and communication between field teams and office leadership.

Support schedule tracking and coordinate subcontractor activities.

Prepare, review, and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.

Assist with budget management, cost forecasting, and financial reporting.

Participate in project meetings and help maintain clear communication among stakeholders.

Help ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Support project close-out activities, including punch lists and turnover documentation.

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Assistant Project Manager will have:

1-4 years of commercial construction experience, light industrial experience strongly preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or scheduling software is a plus.

Self-motivated with a sharp attention to detail.
