A respected, fully integrated real estate development, construction, and property management firm with decades of experience delivering high-quality urban communities throughout the Midwest is seeking a Project Executive for its Columbus operations. The organization specializes in mixed-use, multifamily (market-rate and affordable), and commercial developments with a strong focus on neighborhood revitalization and long-term community impact.
Job Description
The Project Executive Duties Include:
Provide executive oversight for multiple concurrent construction projects
Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution strategies
Ensure financial performance, cost controls, and risk mitigation
Manage and mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, and support staff
Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, and subcontractors
Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with all agreements
Drive safety initiatives and ensure adherence to OSHA and company standards
Support preconstruction efforts, estimating strategy, and business development initiatives

The Successful Applicant
The Successful Project Executive will have:
10+ years of progressive construction experience, including leadership of large-scale projects
Experience managing multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, or urban infill developments preferred
Strong financial acumen and experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets
Proven leadership and team development skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
