Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Reports to: General Manager
Salary: $75,000-$85,000 based on experience.
General job description is as follows but is not limited to the following:
Holds safety in high regard, follows all safety rules for Food, Equipment and General Operations. Takes responsibility for their own safety by acting in a safe manner at all times. Takes responsibility for the safety of co-workers and direct reports by calling out un-safe behavior on the spot.
Actively participates in the LEAN management program, striving to continuously improve, increase efficiency and eliminate waste.
Uses the company's core values of Integrity, Adaptability and Continuous Improvement to guide day to day decision making.
Responsible for the coaching and development of 3-6 direct reports. Is actively involved in hiring, onboarding, day to day supervision, performance evaluation and any necessary discipline or correction.
Must manage employee training, daily workflow, productivity, supervision, discipline, motivation and performance of all employees on shift.
Ensures that conditions within facility are within acceptable parameters and that information is documented at the intervals specified.
Responsible for overall functionality of all equipment in the building.
Responsible for general maintenance and repair of the building and it's systems, material handling equipment, production and line equipment and refrigeration systems.
Coordinates and issues work orders, prioritizing them in such a manner to achieve the highest level of Food Safety, Quality and Employee Safety.
Assures building security, safety and emergency protocols.
Coordinate and schedule contractor support operation needs.
Maintain good relationships with contractors.
Monitor contractor activities on-site to ensure compliance with company safety standards.
Coordinate shift activities with all departments to ensure company objectives are achieved in a timely and cost effective manner.
Provide leadership and training to achieve company goals in safety, performance and profitability.
Provide clear communication as needed to support new and current business opportunities.
Maintains a clean and organized work area. Ensures that all maintenance work areas are maintained up to company standard at all times.
Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
Perform any special projects or other assignments as needed by General Manager.
