Leading multi\-disciplinary team is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer<\/span span span> for their Columbus team span span span>

Responsibilities span span span>
<\/span p>
Project\/client management <\/span span span>
<\/span li>
Oversee electrical design execution for a variety of project types span span span>Healthcare, Sports, Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education, and\/or Institutional projects<\/span span span span span>
<\/span li>
Plan\/manage design process with department managers<\/span span span>
<\/span li>
<\/span span span span span>Supervise staff\/perform following duties span span span>
<\/span li> <\/ul>
Perform analysis, design and documentation for power distribution, lighting systems and backup power systems<\/span span span>
<\/span li>
Coordinate project with specialists for fire alarm, technology and lighting design<\/span span span>
<\/span li>
Coordinate with other internal teams\/disciplines for equipment power needs and sizing electrical distribution<\/span span span>
<\/span li>
Perform electrical design calculations (electrical loads\/panel schedules)<\/span span span>
<\/span li>
Develop electrical systems diagrams (one\-line)<\/span span span>
<\/span li>
Select\/schedule electrical equipment<\/span span span>
<\/span li>
Meet with vendors to determine specifications then edit as needed<\/span span span>
<\/span li>
Prepare design deliverables for SD, DD, CD level documents<\/span span span>
<\/span li>
Assist with budgeting by providing cost opinions<\/span span span>
<\/span li>
Review contractors change orders<\/span span span>
<\/span li>
<\/span span span span span>Perform construction administrative duties including RFI responses and review of contractor change orders<\/span span span>

Ensure designs adhere to QA\/QC standards<\/span span span>
<\/span li>
<\/span span span span span>Attend meetings (clients, local jurisdictions)<\/span span span>
<\/span li>
Work with contractors to resolve construction issues<\/span span span>
<\/span li>
Assist with business development including participation in various trade organizations<\/span span span>
<\/span li>
Manage multiple projects simultaneously<\/span span span>
<\/span li> <\/ul>
<\/span span>
<\/span p>
Requirements span span span>
<\/span p>
Bachelorâ s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred<\/span span span>
<\/span li>
8+ years of electrical design\/project management consulting experience<\/span span span span span span>
<\/span li>
<\/span span span span>Experience with electrical system studies (short circuit, over\-current device coordination and Arc Flash Hazard analysis per NPFA 70E)<\/span span span span span span>
<\/span li>
<\/span span span span span span>Experience\/knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), State Energy Code, NFPA guidelines, and FGI guidelines<\/span span span span span span span>
<\/span li>
<\/span span span span>PE License preferred<\/span span span span span span>
<\/span li>
Working knowledge of design\/analysis software (Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP and Easy power)<\/span span span span span span>
<\/span li>
Knowledge of standard construction practices<\/span span span span span span>
<\/span li> <\/ul>
