CICS Systems Admin/Programmer

We have partnered with our client in their search for a CICS Systems Admin/Programmer for a contract opportunity.

Responsibilities

Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems

Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.

Utilize expertise in mainframe technologies such as CICS, and MQ messaging,

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate distributed technologies and AI tools into mainframe systems, improving functionality and efficiency.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in mainframe technology and data management.

Participate in system optimization, data integrity, and security initiatives.

Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted service.

Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding project progress, challenges, and solutions.

Skills Required

CICS Systems Programming experience

MQ Messaging

Mainframe Updating and Maintenance experience Education & Work Experience

Bachelor's Degree

5+ years
