Position Summary

The Night Shift II Brake Press Operator is responsible for the accurate setup and operation of press brake equipment to bend, form, and shape metal components according to blueprint specifications. This role supports night-shift production goals by operating independently while maintaining strict safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

This position is a hands-on role that works closely with Night II production team and must have a strong commitment to safe manufacturing practices.

Key Responsibilities

Follow fabrication drawings, specifications, and verbal instructions to build parts, structures, and mechanical component assemblies from a wide variety of materials.

Safely and efficiently run all machines involved in the fabrication and completion of parts.

Periodically test operation of machines for any issues.

Inspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and uphold company reputation.

Maintain tools and equipment in a clean and orderly manner and report all equipment problems.

Learn the JRMW processes involved with the completion of assigned parts.

Qualifications & Skills

Press brake operation experience preferred.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and bend deductions.

Mathematical aptitude.

Proficiency using measuring tools.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Night Shift II Information

Schedule: for regular full-time employees working the second night shift (Night Shift II), core workday/ hours are from 5 PM to 5 AM Wednesday through Friday evening. Overtime is available but is not mandatory. Trainingmayoccur during the day shift. Day shift hours are 5 AM to 3 PM on Monday through Thursday.

Night Shift Offerings

Shift differential pay hours: for regular full-time employees working night shift, four (4) additional hours per week, at the employees standard hourly rate, will be allotted to the employees paycheck if the employee has physically worked 36 or more that week (WORK 36 HOURS, PAID FOR 40).

Additionally, employees who regularly work either night shift receive shift differential pay of $2.00 per hour for night shift hours.
