Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
Processes, packages, labels, and moves finished products for shipment.
This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
This role is onsite and is based in Menomonee Falls, WI.Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities\nAligns material and puts together parts to build more complex units.
\nInterprets blueprint specifications for each unit.
\nConducts first piece inspection to adhere to quality standards.\nPackage and label products following standard procedure.
\nUnderstands and engages in department metrics.\nSupports new product initiatives.
\nProficient in scrap out procedures.
\nResponsible for individual production schedule expectations.\nProficient within applicable computer programs and scanning operations.
\nProficient in most Standard Operating Procedures for applicable department/cell.
\nMeets productivity expectations set by management.\nProficient understanding of department specific tools and measuring equipment.
\nSustains inventory and parts replenishment system.\nParticipates in department meetings effectively.
\nCompletes industrial lift truck certifications (as needed).\nCollaborate effectively with all team members across departments.\nHelps support other department functions as needed.\nHelp create and maintain a positive work environment.\nUnderstand and abide by all company safety policies.\nAssume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor or Company management.\nResponsibility directly tied to Watts Value (Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency)\n\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience\nUnderstanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.\nMust successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications1 + years of general assembly experience or manufacturing role\nGeneral Applicable Company Competencies \nCommitment to Watts' values of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation, and transparency.\nPunctuality and dependability.\nAbility to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions.\nAdherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts.\nMaintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees.\nAdherence to Watts' seven cultural beliefs: Growth Mindset, Customer-Focused Innovation, Constant Communication, Clear Goals, Collaborate Globally, Be Inclusive, and Take Action.\n\nWorking Conditions: While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility.
