Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Onsite - Gahanna, OH
Employment Type: Contract (expected to few months; potential to extend)
Schedule: Part-Time (25-30 hours/week) preferred; Full-Time considered
Education: Degree required (Bachelor's preferred)
Overview:
Our staffing firm is supporting a client in Gahanna, OH in their search for a Bookkeeper who will support the organization financially through accurate accounting, timely processing, and dependable administrative support. This role is essential to maintaining strong cash flow and positive relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
Manage banking activities including reconciliations, deposits, credit card transactions, and resolution of exceptions
Process and record accounts receivable transactions, including receipts and monthly billings
Support accounts payable functions, including vendor payments, cost allocations, and backup coverage
Complete financial accounting tasks such as month-end reconciliations, journal entries, recurring postings, and preparation of supporting schedules
Assist with audits, year-end processes, documentation organization, and administrative financial support as neededRequired Qualifications:
Degree required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, Associates degree with experience considered
Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, and journal entries
Strong understanding of financial accounting and GAAP principles
Proficiency with spreadsheets, data entry, and general computing skills
Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentPay Details: $20.00 to $29.00 per hour
