Press Brake Operator

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for operating stamping presses, pre-setters, and other secondary metal processing equipment

Responsibilities include:

Maintain a safe and efficient work environment

Perform in process checks on parts and minimize scrap

Maintaining area cleanliness

Perform work in line with quality requirements and ensure that parts are made to print

Operate a forklift for daily operations

Data entry on computer system

Perform daily checks on machines

Additional items as assigned by manager

PRINCIPAL CONTACTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE COMPANY

This position interacts with other manufacturing personnel, project managers, and area supervisor.

COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of ability to operate various stamping presses and secondary equipment

Have basic knowledge of blueprint reading

Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly

Ability to be detail oriented

Ability to be reliable and trustworthy

Ability to work well in a team environment

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School graduate or GED

1 year of experience operating stamping presses and secondary equipment
