Machine Operators

Our client with a long history of quality manufacturing in the Greenfield, MA area is looking for Machine Operators to join their team on both days and nights!

Your qualifications for the Machine Operator position are as follows:

High School Diploma or GED

Previous machine operator experience and/or manufacturing experience preferred

Ability to stay alert and focus for a long period of time

Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment

Written and verbal English communication skills

Excellent attention to detail and good work ethic

Ability to follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Must be reliable with excellent attendance

Good mechanical ability

Ability to read and interpret shop prints

Ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift

Temp to Hire position

Full time rotating schedule 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am

$20-23/hour depending on shift

As a Machine Operator your duties will include:

Set up/maintain/operate grinding and polishing machines

Inspection and measurement of tools using calipers and measuring tapes

Quality inspection

Material handling

Other duties as assigned
