Job Description
Lead, manage, and develop the Quality Department, including inspectors, technicians, and quality engineers.
Oversee all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS)
Establish and maintain inspection processes, including first article inspections, inprocess inspections, and final inspections.
Manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes, including root cause analysis and implementation of long-term solutions.
Interface directly with customers regarding quality concerns, audits, non-conformances, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership to drive process capability, reduce scrap, and improve overall product quality.
Oversee calibration programs, document control, internal audits, and supplier quality performance.
Analyze quality metrics and present actionable insights to leadership; lead initiatives to improve KPIs.
Support new product introduction (NPI) with quality plans, risk assessments, and process validation. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of quality experience in a metalworking environment.
Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, metrology, and machining processes
Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, or comparable quality standards.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop processes, and manage customer-facing quality issues.
Proficiency with root cause analysis methodologies (5-Why, Fishbone, 8D, etc.).
Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC), FAI/PPAP, and gage R&R.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. What's on Offer
Base salary $100,000 - $130,000 depending on experience level
