VitaCare Living is an established Assisted Living and Memory Care provider with a mission to Add LIFE to the Years of our Residents and Staff. With 17 locations across two states, we care for over 300 residents in smaller, home-like settings that prioritize community, dignity, and purpose.
We're hiring an Assistant Executive Director! Your role is key to ensuring protocols are followed, schedules are set, interviewing, hiring, training, and files are neatly organized and up-to-date. Responsibilities
• Interview
• Hiring and onboarding of new staff
• Ensure new candidates are orientated and trained properly
• Ensure all staff stay current with the required training
• Follow up with all staff regarding performance issues and ensure improvements are achieved
• Organize and assist with new move-in inquiries and tours
• Introduce new policies and tasks to all staff and ensure proper understanding is achieved by all
• Be the main point of contact for the Executive Director
• Perform office management duties such as organizing filing systems and ordering office equipment and supplies
• Manage staff timesheets for accuracy and submit them for payroll
• Complete weekly inventory of nursing and cleaning supplies and groceries. Complete weekly orders to ensure all supplies and groceries are available
Qualifications
• CBRF Certified
• Previous management experience preferred, but not required
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred but not required
• Accustomed to working on strict deadlines and handling confidential information
• Possess a high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
• Strong organizational skills, communication skills, time management skills, and interpersonal skills
