Job Description

Lead the full life cycle of a ground-up data center construction project, from preconstruction through closeout.

Oversee budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration with a focus on cost control and risk mitigation.

Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations.

Coordinate closely with owners, design teams, engineers, commissioning agents, and internal project staff.

Drive project meetings, progress tracking, and reporting to maintain transparency and alignment.

Resolve technical, logistical, and sequencing challenges inherent to mission-critical construction.

Provide leadership and mentorship to Assistant PMs, Project Engineers, and field teams.

The Successful Applicant

7-12+ years of construction project management experience, with at least one full ground-up data center project successfully completed as Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.

Deep understanding of mission critical systems, including power distribution, generators, UPS systems, cooling/CRAC units, structured cabling, and commissioning protocols.

Proven ability to manage large project budgets, complex schedules, and extensive subcontractor scopes.

Strong communication skills with a track record of building trust with owners and design partners.

Experience working for a general contractor on projects $50M+.
