Job Description

Conduct detailed inspections of construction projects involving highways, bridges, and related infrastructure.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, local codes, and safety regulations.

Review plans, specifications, and other project documents to identify potential issues before construction begins.

Prepare and submit accurate inspection reports, documenting progress, quality, and any issues or deviations.

Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects.

Monitor construction activities to ensure materials, methods, and workmanship meet the required standards.

Provide technical advice and support on construction methods and problem-solving during the project lifecycle.

Assist in resolving construction-related conflicts and discrepancies as needed. The Successful Applicant

Civil Engineering or a related field is required.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil/industrial construction, with specific experience in highways and bridges.

In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards for highways and bridges.

Familiarity with relevant local, state, and federal regulations, including DOT standards.

Strong understanding of project plans, drawings, and specifications.

Ability to conduct on-site inspections and identify issues related to quality, safety, and compliance.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software. What's on Offer
