Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer

Location: Plano, TX

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Client Industry: Financial Services

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Schedule: Standard time (8 AM to 5 PM CST)

Day To Day Responsbilities:

Develop and deploy Java 17/Spring 6 microservices within a Kubernetes/OpenShift environment.

Design and implement database interactions using MongoDB, optimizing for performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-based application issues and ensure system stability.

Participate in code reviews and collaborate on complex technical solutions.

Monitor application performance and implement improvements to maintain optimal efficiency.

Resolved application performance issues, including memory leaks, high CPU usage, and thread lock.

Developed and maintained high-traffic, Tier 0 applications. Must Have:

8+ years of overall experience in hands on java development

Proficient in Java 17 and Spring 6.

Extensive experience with Microservices architecture.

Strong Kubernetes/OpenShift (or general cloud) deployment expertise.

Database proficiency

Experience in solving application performance issues like Memory leak, High CPU usage, Thread lock etc

Experience in working on a high traffic, Tier 0 application Nice To Have:

Experience in implementing security best practices and ensuring the security of cloud-based applications.

Familiar with OAuth, JWT, and other modern authentication and authorization mechanisms.

Experience with automation and implementing DevOps practices.

Contribute to technical strategy development and architectural design.

Possess strong stakeholder management and business acumen, along with expertise in agile development and risk management

Prior banking or financial experience Compensation

Hourly Rate: $60 - $65 per hour
