Job Description
Develop and enhance frontoffice trading applications using Java (and Python where applicable), including both backend services and frontend components.
Build and support trading platform functionality such as order management, market data integrations, stock loan workflows, and related realtime systems.
Partner closely with traders, quants, and risk teams to understand business needs, optimize trading workflows, and deliver highimpact technical solutions in a fastpaced environment.
Contribute to pricing, P&L, and quantitative modeling efforts (especially volatility), while maintaining strong organization, adaptability, and eagerness to learn new tools like FIX, Quod, and Murex. The Successful Applicant
Minimum of 10-years of hands-on Java development in frontoffice or tradingdesk environments; Python and frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js) are pluses.
Strong understanding of equities, equityderivative products, trading workflows, and FIX protocol, with experience developing or supporting trading platforms (OMS, stock loan, market data systems, etc.).
Proven ability to partner directly with traders, quants, and risk teams while multitasking and adapting in a fastpaced environment.
Solid educational background or equivalent financialindustry experience, with additional pluses in pricing models, volatility, P&L calculations, Quod, and Murex. What's on Offer
