Our client is a leading general contractor in the Mid-Atlantic region with a strong reputation built over more than 50 years. As a family-owned business, they've grown steadily year after year, expanding both their team and revenue. With multiple offices across the area, most of their projects are concentrated between Northern Virginia and Richmond. Their core focus is multifamily construction, typically ranging from $30M to $100M, though they've successfully delivered projects exceeding $200M. To support their continued growth, they're seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their self-perform masonry division.

Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Masonry (Self-Perform Division) will be responsible for:

Assisting in planning and scheduling masonry activities to meet project timelines.

Coordinating with field supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure material availability and workflow efficiency.

Tracking project progress, updating schedules, and reporting to the Project Manager.

Managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders while maintaining accurate documentation.

Monitoring quality and safety compliance on-site and addressing issues promptly.

Supporting cost control efforts by reviewing invoices and assisting with budget tracking.

Communicating effectively with clients and internal teams to align expectations.
