Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily Developer - MD will:

Support two Project Managers on major new developments, including a 160unit townhome project in Bealeton, VA and a 300+ unit townhome + multifamily project in Raleigh, NC.

Assist the development team (including the VP) with design coordination and preconstruction efforts-an uncommon opportunity to gain experience on both the construction and development sides.

Help manage scheduling, subcontractor coordination, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.

Participate in site visits across the DMV and Carolinas (VA/MD 1-2x per week; NC 1-2x per month).

Contribute to project budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting.

Support project teams in maintaining quality, safety, and timeline expectations. The Successful Applicant

The Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily Developer - MD will have:

2+ years of construction experience (Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager).

Multifamily experience is required.

Strong cultural fit: collaborative, humble, relationshipdriven, and excited about longterm growth within a small team.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Willingness to travel to project sites within the region. What's on Offer

Base salary: $100K-$115K (flexible depending on experience).
