Job Description
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles, corporate standards, and technical knowledge to support aerospace composite parts production.
Design, redesign, or enhance work areas and workstations for optimized workflow and compliance with company standards.
Perform detailed simulations of WIP flows and production line workflows using modeling software to support data-driven decision-making.
Execute, coach, and manage change for structured improvement projects.
Collaborate with Value Stream Managers (VSM) to design WIP handling, storage solutions, and measure key production parameters.
Identify and assess manufacturing problems and deviations from standards; research and recommend effective solutions.
Maintain knowledge of manufacturing best practices, industry trends, and new technologies.
Implement methods and modifications to reduce production costs and improve efficiency.
Monitor 5S, innovation initiatives, and adherence to operational standards.
Sustain and enhance existing operational excellence programs.

The Successful Applicant
Substantial experience in industrial design within aerospace or automotive manufacturing.
Mechanical or electromechanical aptitude considered an asset.
Six Sigma and/or Lean certification preferred.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required; experience with Power BI and AutoCAD is an asset.
Experience with workflow and WIP simulation software is highly desirable.
Ability to design and optimize workstations and production lines.
Demonstrated experience in change management and coaching teams on process improvements.
Knowledge of operational excellence tools such as 5S and continuous improvement programs. What's on Offer
