Job Description
Implement and sustain lean principles to improve operational efficiency in engineering and manufacturing processes.
Analyze current workflows and identify areas for waste reduction and process optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide training and guidance to staff on lean methodologies and tools.
Track and report on performance metrics to measure the success of lean projects.
Support the development of standardized work processes and documentation.
Facilitate problem-solving workshops to address operational challenges.
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements during process improvements. The Successful Applicant
A successful Lean Engineer should have:
Bachelor's Degree required; engineering discipline preferred.
Six Sigma and/or Lean certification an asset.
Experience with industrial design in an aero or automotive context.
A strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and tools.
Proven ability to analyze and improve operational processes.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
A proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement. What's on Offer
