Job Description
The Project Engineer will be required to lead or assist in:
Provide overall project leadership while establishing, implementing, and championing a proactive safety culture across the job site.
Lead the development and review of bid packages to secure competitive and qualified subcontractor proposals.
Facilitate and manage subcontractor meetings to ensure alignment with project objectives, schedules, and quality standards.
Review monthly pay applications, overseeing required documentation and approvals to ensure accurate and timely project funding.
Direct cost management efforts, including oversight of contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and scope revisions to achieve established project goals.
Maintain the overall financial health of the project, including budget tracking and forecasting.
Represent the company in subcontract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and strong trade partner relationships. The Successful Applicant
The Project Engineer will need:
1+ years of commercial Construction experience.
Working knowledge of construction technology and details.
Construction Management degree or its equivalent in experience.
Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors and clients.
Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC and electrical. What's on Offer
