Position Title: Project Engineer
Department: Construction Operations
Report: Project Manager
1. Project Coordination EMPLOYEE
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) and track responses.
• Coordinate between engineers, subcontructors and field personnel. .
• Coordinate with Project Manager in preparing timely material, labor and equipment requisitions
• Attend site coordination and progress meeting
2. Project Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain accurate project records including drawings, correspondence, and daily reports.
• Prepare daily work activities and weekly accomplishment and monitoring reports.
• Track material deliveries, equipment usage, and progress against schedule.
• Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) and track responses.
• Assist the Project Manager in preparing progress reports for project management.
3. Technical Support
• Ensure designs and plans comply with engineering standards, codes, and client specifications.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and assist in cost estimation.
• Support problem-solving on site for technical issues.

4. Manpower and Timekeeping Coordination
• Monitor daily manpower deployment.
• Support the Project Manager in planning manpower resources in accordance with work schedules.
5. Administrative and Project Support
• Provide administrative support to the Project Manager and technical team including meeting coordination, drafting letters, and data compilation.
• Assist in preparing project presentations, visual progress trackers, and compliance documents.
• Maintain logs of deliverables, correspondence, permits, and unresolved issues for project follow-through.
6. Project Management Assistance
• Assist the Project Manager in updating work schedules, tracking actual accomplishments vs targets, and maintaining key performance indicators.
• Support in monitoring critical paths, dependencies, and delivery timelines based on the project work plan.
• Participate in internal project review meetings, take minutes, and follow up on assigned action items.
• Help prepare project status updates and highlight delays, pending issues, and resource gaps for management attention.
7. Quality Control Management, Safety and Compliance
• Ensure timely submission and approval of materials before procurement or execution
• Schedule, witness and monitor all material testing and sampling.
• Compile and document test results accurately
• Monitor work to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Help implement site safety procedures and report potential hazards. Stakeholder Management
• Maintains clear and regular communication with internal departments, consultants, and contractors.
• Provides status updates to the Project Manager and responds to project-related queries.
• Participates in coordination meetings and site inspections with clients and stakeholders.
• Supports the Project Manager in managing expectations and addressing concerns from various parties.
• Builds and maintains good working relationships across all project teams.
