Senior Managers serve in an outward-facing, hands-on, and multi-faceted role combining project and engagement management, team leadership and material interaction with clients at both tactical and strategic levels.
While activities vary based on project size/scope and individual skill-sets and strengths, the Senior Manager can expect to spend considerable time on client-facing engagements through all project phases (pursuit to delivery), project management, and intensive data-analysis to implement impactful recommendations. Job Summary
We are seeking a forward-thinking entrepreneurial-minded Solution Architect with deep Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) expertise to lead AI-driven financial transformation initiatives. This strategic role leverages Microsoft Copilot, autonomous agents, and intelligent automation to modernize core finance operations within an AI-powered ERP environment. The ideal candidate combines strong finance and accounting expertise, extensive D365 F&SCM experience, and executive presence to guide C-level stakeholders while architecting innovative, next-generation financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
AI-Driven Finance Transformation
Architect and implement D365 F&SCM solutions with embedded AI, automation, and predictive capabilities to modernize finance processes and enhance decision-making.
Strategic Advisory
Advise CFOs and senior leaders on AI-enabled ERP strategy, delivering thought leadership on AI, analytics, and automation to improve close cycles, forecasting, and operational efficiency. Challenge the status quo and inspire a vision of the future of finance that is proactive, data-driven, and highly automated.
Solution Architecture & Integration
Translate business requirements into scalable D365 F&SCM designs. Integrate Power Platform and Azure AI services to deliver intelligent, secure, and high-performing solutions.
Leadership & Change Management
Lead cross-functional teams through finance transformation initiatives, driving innovation, user enablement, and adoption of AI-powered tools.
Delivery Excellence
Oversee end-to-end implementations, ensuring alignment to strategic goals, rigorous design validation, successful deployment, and post-go-live optimization.
Required Qualifications
Experience
8+ years in ERP/financial systems, including 5+ years of D365 F&SCM solution design and multiple full-cycle implementations as lead or architect.
Finance Expertise
Strong knowledge of core finance processes (GL, AP, AR, budgeting, consolidations, treasury) and regulatory reporting requirements.
Technical Expertise
Deep D365 F&SCM knowledge with experience integrating Power Platform and Azure AI services. Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and AI-driven automation required.
Leadership & Business Acumen
Proven ability to engage C-level executives, lead strategy discussions, and align technology with business objectives.
Communication & Change Leadership
Strong stakeholder management and demonstrated success leading large-scale transformation and adoption initiatives.
Willingness to travel 25% - 50%
If residing in Canada, must be a Canadian citizen to qualify for a TN visa and travel to the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field (MBA preferred).
Microsoft certifications (MB-310, MB-700) strongly preferred; AB-100 a plus.
The estimated base salary (U.S.) for this job is $165,000.00 - $190,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $184,000 - $237,500 . The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
