Project Planning and Pre-Implementation
Review contract documents, technical plans, and project specifications.
Prepare project implementation plans, work programs, and mobilization schedules tailored to site operations.
Participate in design reviews, value engineering sessions, and constructability assessments.
Coordinate early permitting requirements such as ECC, and other required clearances.
Project and Construction Management
Supervise daily execution of site works ensuring that day to day activity is in accordance to the approved Project Implementation plan.
Oversee deployment and maximize utilization of all project equipment.
Monitor project timelines, critical paths, and resolve issues affecting productivity and schedule.
Enforce strict adherence to quality standards, method statements, and project specifications.
Cost Control and Budget Management
Monitor project budgets, actual costs, and cost forecasts in collaboration with Top Management. Identify cost overruns, financial risks, and implement mitigation measures to minimize financial exposure.
Review subcontractor proposals and vendor pricing; recommend awards based on budget alignment and technical compliance.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of accurate billing statements and accomplishment reports.
Procurement and Contract Administration
Coordinate with Procurement for timely sourcing, delivery, and inspection of materials and specialized equipment.
Manage supplier and subcontractor performance; enforce contractual terms, schedules, and quality compliance.
Track change orders, scope variations, and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
Validate vendor and subcontractor billings based on actual site accomplishments and contract terms.
Permits and Compliance
Ensure timely acquisition, renewal, and compliance of all necessary permits (e.g., DENR, DPWH, LGUs, PPA).
Coordinate with port authorities, shipping operators, and third-party stakeholders for site access and activity clearances (if needed).
Represent the project during inspections, regulatory audits, and public consultations when necessary.
Liaise with head office departments for legal, financial, and compliance support.
Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management
Promote a culture of safety on site and enforce safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
Address non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive measures.
Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and participate in incident investigations.
Reporting and Project Close-Out
Submit regular progress reports, budget updates, risk assessments, and schedule reviews to top management.
Prepare turnover documentation including punch lists, testing records, and as-built plans.
Ensure proper project documentation, permit closure for project close-out.
Stakeholder Management
Maintains clear and regular communication with internal departments, consultants, and contractors.
Provides status updates to the Area Project Manager and responds to project-related queries.
Participates in coordination meetings and site inspections with clients and stakeholders.
Supports the Area Project Manager in managing expectations and addressing concerns from various parties.
Builds and maintains good working relationships across all project teams.
