Landscape Laborer

Landscape Laborer Reports to: Landscape Foreman/Supervisor

Supervises: not applicable

Responsibilities

• Assists with loading and unloading landscape trucks, ensuring proper materials, supplies and equipment are available as instructed by supervisor

• Assists with preparing plants, fertilizing, mulching, and watering all landscape plantings as instructed by supervisor

• Assists with installing rock walls, landscape lighting, and pond/water features as instructed by supervisor. May perform basic irrigation work as necessary.

• May operate skid steers, rototillers, trenchers, chainsaws, sod cutters, brick saws, and any other landscape equipment as instructed.

• Performs other duties as required. Education/ Experience

• Prefer previous landscaping experience, but not required

• Good driving record

• Construction knowledge

• Mechanical knowledge • Problem Solving • Customer service skills • Ability to bend stoop and stand at least 8 hrs a day • Ability to lift 80lb
