Lead Wedding Coordinator

Leigh & Co. Events is a dynamic and expanding wedding planning company serving clients across the United States. We are actively seeking enthusiastic planners to join our team as Lead Wedding Coordinators. This contract role offers you the flexibility to set your own schedule, and comprehensive training will be provided. Compensation ranges from $20 - $35/hour and is paid per project. We are looking for dedicated individuals to contribute to our 2026 season and beyond.

As a Lead Wedding Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality wedding planning services, primarily on-site. This is an ideal opportunity for those eager to make an impact in the wedding industry. You will collaborate with our assistant coordinators to ensure the smooth execution of weddings by providing the following services:

Create detailed wedding timelines for couples.

Serve as an advocate for the couple, helping to keep them calm under pressure and addressing any issues that arise throughout the day.

Oversee the ceremony and reception set-up to ensure everything is in place.

Manage all day-of operations for the wedding, being present at the venue from the early morning until the end of the night to facilitate tear down.

Welcome and direct all vendors to their designated areas.

Communicate with vendors regarding the set-up and any last-minute adjustments.

Assist with the arrangement of seating cards, menu cards, table numbers, favors, guest books, and other decor items.

Support the wedding party and family with any needs, questions, or concerns during the event.

Ensure proper arrangements are made for gifts, guest books, toasting flutes, and other items at the end of the event.

Requirements:

Must be available to work on weekends.

At least 2 years of experience as a wedding planner or event planner is required.

Strong communication skills and keen attention to detail are essential.

Reliable transportation is necessary.

Ability to carry and lift items up to 30 lbs.
