Medical Assistant Receptionist
The ideal candidate understands customer service and is empathetic with client needs and concerns and must work with a sense of urgency by providing timely information, services, and assistance.
Position Activities and Responsibilities:
Greets/checks in and out all patients
Assist with insurance eligibility and copay/coinsurance collection
Facilitates effective workflow for service provider team
Professional communication and phone management skills
Answering phone calls, triaging phone messages for nurses and providers
Treat all team members and patients professionally
Desired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Certified medical assistant
Medical insurance experience desired
Previous prior authorization experience desired
EMR experience desired
Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Able to complete assigned tasks efficiently and independently
