Digital Press Operator

FurstStaffing has an immediate Furst-to-Hire opening for a Digital Press Operator at a fast-paced Machesney Park company. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital printing and/or handling graphic files. Previous graphics background preferred. In this role you will not be responsible for designing, but will be preparing everything to run on the digital press and then running it to spec.

Hours: 7am to 4pm, but there can be some flexibility

Pay: $19 to $20/hour

Digital Press Operator Responsibilities:

Manage the operation of the digital printing press and related finishing equipment

Create digital print files from data provided

Adjust color calibration to meet the client's expectations

Set up supplies and equipment

Supervise the printing press during each operation

Digital Press Operator Requirements:

Graphics design experience is helpful, but no designing is required

Experience working with art files

Computer skills

Keen eye for detail
