ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Web Content Author to join their marketing department. In this operational role, you will execute web content updates and strategies developed by cross-functional partners, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines, design system standards, and accessibility requirements. You will be responsible for selecting and editing templates and components, managing digital assets, and performing thorough quality assurance checks. The ideal candidate will have a background in Marketing, Business, Communication, Web Development, or a related field, and experience with content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites. This position requires strong project management skills, the ability to collaborate with diverse teams, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality. Additional duties include supporting the development of new website functionality, providing documentation and training for peers, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external partners. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Work within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites to select and edit appropriate templates, components, and modules to compose and publish web content based on brand guidelines and stakeholder input
Add, edit, and optimize content (copy, images, video, tagging, SEO metadata) for both domestic and international sites, ensuring consistency with brand aesthetics and accessibility standards
Execute timely and thorough quality assurance (QA) of your own and other content authors' work to ensure the highest quality content reaches the live site
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, brand experience, and marketing partners, to align on strategies, meet deadlines, and increase productivity
Work within the company's Design System to ensure content consistency with brand and accessibility standards
Customize and edit content for various brands and international markets as needed
Manage digital assets and images within Adobe Digital Asset Manager, create experience fragments, and develop workflows as required
Support the development and implementation of new website functionality and AEM/Design System components
Provide detailed authoring documentation and training for peers and content authors
Direct and build relationships with internal and external production and execution partners
Initiate collaboration across teams to align on expectations, meet deadlines, and drive project success
Assist with additional projects and tasks as required by the marketing department WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, Communication, Web Development, or a related field
Experience working within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites or similar content management platforms
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality; experience with QA or UAT is a plus
Familiarity with accessibility best practices and web design standards
Knowledge of web design and basic HTML/CSS is a plus
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Highly organized, attentive, and accountable for delivering high-quality work
Strong relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving project needs
