This role is vital to the daily success of our local partner. You will serve as a technical guardian, monitoring systems and ensuring that critical data processes complete successfully while you work alongside a supportive group of professionals. Interested candidates must be able to work the schedule.
Shift Schedule and Training
Training Period: You will begin with a standard Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule to learn systems and protocols.
Permanent Rotation: Once your training is complete, you will move to a rotating "2-2-3" style schedule. This allows for consistent days off and long weekends.
The Rotation Works as Follows:
Week 1: Work Monday and Tuesday; Off Wednesday and Thursday; Work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Week 2: Off Monday and Tuesday; Work Wednesday and Thursday; Off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Responsibilities:
Monitor live consoles and dashboards to ensure large-scale data jobs and system processes are running without interruption.
Serve as the professional voice of the IT department, taking incoming calls to identify and document technical issues.
Learn to spot system errors early. You will follow guided manuals to resolve minor glitches or alert senior engineers when complex fixes are needed.
Oversee essential daily tasks such as system backups, digital report generation, and ensuring warehouse printers stay online for critical shipping needs.
Act as a coordinator during technical events, ensuring the right teams are updated and issues are logged with high accuracy.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience identifying why a process failed and attempting basic troubleshooting steps.
Comfort with typing and navigating various software interfaces quickly and accurately.
Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or data center environment is a plus.
An interest in working different shifts or being available for critical system updates.
