Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on project scope, schedule, and budget expectations

Oversee the creation, maintenance, and communication of project schedules, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies

Monitor field operations to ensure compliance with safety standards, contract requirements, and project specifications

Facilitate clear communication between owners, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain project momentum

Support change management by initiating, tracking, and negotiating change orders to maintain financial accuracy

Ensure project documentation-including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and quality control reports-is completed accurately and on time

Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential issues, and confirm adherence to safety and quality protocols

Collaborate with estimating teams to provide constructability reviews and input for future proposals

Drive resolution of project issues by coordinating with design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives

Mentor junior staff by providing guidance on project management processes, safety practices, and effective communication

Track material procurement to ensure timely availability and avoid schedule delays

Support closeout activities, including punch list completion, turnover packages, and warranty documentation

Foster strong client relationships by delivering consistent communication, transparency, and responsiveness

The Successful Applicant

The successful Project Manager should have:

2-5 yars in small-scale commercial construction

Demonstrates strong leadership by guiding teams, resolving conflicts, and fostering a collaborative environment

Communicates clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment on goals, expectations, and progress

Plans, organizes, and manages projects with a structured approach, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met

Anticipates risks early and implements proactive mitigation strategies to protect project outcomes

Oversees financial performance by monitoring budgets, forecasting accurately, and controlling costs

Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing project conditions or requirements

Ensures contractor and vendor performance meets contractual and technical specifications

Champions a safetyfirst culture, ensuring compliance with all site, company, and regulatory safety standards

Maintains detailed and accurate project documentation, including schedules, reports, RFIs, and change orders

Builds and maintains strong client relationships through responsiveness, accountability, and consistent communication

Leads negotiations with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and reliable performance

Monitors work progress, conducts site checks, and ensures quality control throughout the project lifecycle

Solves problems quickly using sound judgment, technical knowledge, and datadriven decisionmaking

Supports continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and implementing more efficient workflows
