The Assembler at our Nicholasville, KY location involves working collaboratively to assemble Industrial Air Filtration systems in an innovative team orientated environment.

This is a 2nd shift onsite role, with hours Monday - Thursday 3 p.m.

to 1 a.m.Role Responsibilities:\nGather relevant blueprints; build sheets and necessary parts and hardware for assembly\nUse mechanical ability, work instructions and hand tools to assemble products\nTest equipment when necessary\nOperation of Overhead Cranes and lifting devices\nMaterial Handling and Transportation of Product\nPerform quality inspection and fill out necessary paperwork for record\nPackage and crate assembled products and load for shipment\nComplies with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures\nActive involvement in DPS through continuous improvement and kaizen events\nSuccessfully complete annual RCRA Hazardous Waste and DOT Hazardous Material Training (if applicable)\n\nWhile this list is representative of essential job duties, it is not an all-inclusive list of duties required to perform this role.

Other duties may be assigned in order to fulfill Donaldson's mission, vision and strategic plan objectives.Minimum Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate ability to:\nMaterial Handling with forklifts, cranes, carts, etc.\nDisplay mechanical aptitude\nQuality conscious\nAbility to read blueprints, and understand verbal and written instructions\nHigh School Diploma, GED, or previous experience required\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nDisplay mechanical aptitude and ability to solve complex problems resulting from a highly customized product line\nPerform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a steady work environment\n\nImmigration Sponsorship Not Available:\nApplicants for this position must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, J-1, F-1, CPT, OPT, etc.).\nDonaldson will not offer immigration sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.\nInternational relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the U.S.
