Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and assist residents with activities of daily living

Administer medications and treatments accurately and document findings

Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to the clinical team

Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care

Perform focused assessments and contribute to individualized care plans

Support infection control practices and maintain a safe environment for residents

Communicate clearly with residents and families to explain care and provide reassurance

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure — ready to practice

Comfortable working nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and providing consistent clinical coverage

Travel nurse experience is a plus (preferred)

Ability to pass facility-required background check and immunization verification

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Education

Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in medication administration and basic wound care

Proficient in monitoring and documenting vital signs and clinical observations

Solid clinical judgment and the ability to escalate changes in condition

Good time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting

Experience with electronic medical records or willingness to learn quickly

Team-oriented approach and strong resident-centered communication
