RN Nurse Manager Responsibilities:
20 hours/week: Conduct VA Assessments and Reassessments; provide ongoing medication management
20 hours/week: Complete Initial Plans of Care (POC) and perform updates as needed
CNA/Caregiver education as a CEU Provider
Oversight of home care clients & home care field staff
Provides care as defined within the scope of the states nurse practice act
Conducts non-medical in-home assessments/re-assessments
Client Relations This includes, client care needs and family concerns
Working to ensure the home care client process is smooth (inquiry to discharge)
Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws
Participates in agency performance improvement activities, and continuously staying informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care
Compliance/Promotion of the standards of quality set forth by BrightStar Care.
Thorough knowledge of the regulations/accreditation processes to ensure compliance with all Joint Commission, regulatory, HIPPA, OSHA and local, state, and federal laws.
Ensure high-quality customer care is provided at every stage of the client/caregiver touch-points; phone to in-home consultation
Assists with competency of new field staff
Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws
Stays informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care. Shares information with appropriate organization personnel
Promotes home care referrals in the health care community
Additional assignments as needed. Perform supervisory visits

RN Nurse Manager Requirements:
RN with one (1) year clinical experience, and some office experience preferred
Current state license to practice in state care is being provided
Preferred: Bachelors degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program.
