New Gig Solutions is excited to partner with a long-established, mission-driven law firm that has been advocating for individuals facing financial hardship since 2011. With a presence in multiple states and a trusted model that consistently delivers results, the firm is expanding to meet continued demand—and is now hiring a hybrid Associate Attorney based in the Columbus area.

Position: Associate Attorney

Location: Hybrid (Must reside in the Columbus, Ohio area)

Compensation: $90,000 + Full Benefits

Bar Admission: Must be licensed and in good standing with the Ohio Bar

Experience: 1–2 years of litigation or negotiation experience

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys seeking meaningful, mission-driven legal work—without the typical pressures of billables, business development, or late nights. You'll be provided with a steady caseload, hybrid flexibility, and full support from an experienced legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage client matters from intake through resolution

Negotiate with creditors and opposing counsel

Handle cases involving debt collection, financial hardship, or tenant rights

Use the firm's Salesforce-based system to track progress and manage communications

Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and administrative staff

What You Won't Do:

No billable hour requirements

No sales or client acquisition

No fee generation responsibilities

No late nights — standard 9-to-6 schedule with real balance

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Active Ohio Bar license and Columbus-area residency required

1–2 years of litigation, negotiation, or relevant legal experience

Background in consumer law, financial disputes, or personal injury is a plus

Strong communication and organizational skills

Committed to a full-time role (not running their own practice on the side)

Passionate about helping underserved or vulnerable populations
