Plant Manager - Heavy Fabrication

SavvyWise Workforce is partnering with a confidential heavy fabrication company in Glasgow, MO to find an experienced Plant Manager to lead daily operations at their manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all plant operations including production scheduling, quality, safety, and maintenance

- Lead and develop a team of production supervisors and floor personnel

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility

- Manage production budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics

- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and industry safety standards

- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and capacity management

- Maintain and improve welding, fabrication, and assembly processes

Requirements:

- 5+ years of plant management experience in heavy fabrication, structural steel, or manufacturing

- Strong knowledge of welding processes, fabrication methods, and production scheduling

- Proven leadership skills with experience managing 50+ employees

- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement

- Familiarity with AISC, AWS, or similar industry standards is a plus

- Bachelor's degree preferred

Compensation: $125,000 - $145,000/year + benefits including 401(k) with

matching and health insurance

Location: Glasgow, MO (on-site, relocation support available)
