Irrigation Technician

Lawn Management Company (LMC) is searching for an Irrigation Technician to install, maintain, and restore irrigation systems in a safe manner. This is a Full-time, benefit eligible position, with typical hours being 6:30am to 5pm, Monday-Thursdays with occasional Fridays for over-time.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, inspect and repair irrigation systems

Ensure irrigation repairs are being done correctly, on a timely basis, and in accordance with all local and state codes

Maintain paperwork on projects, work orders, and issues

Adhere to LMC quality standards and safety policies

Maintain inventory of parts and tools

Investigate incidents, accidents, or emergencies

Communicate daily with Irrigation Manager and other team members as needed

Inspect company equipment, property and vehicle daily

Qualifications

Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening; at least 21 yrs of age

Minimum 1 year of work in the field of irrigation and drainage

TCEQ Irrigation License or Technicians License is preferred

Backflow license is a plus

Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
