CHC Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a medical Documentation Specialist to join our team in our Columbus OH office.

CHC Solutions, Inc. provides medical supplies to patients with a focus on outstanding customer service. We are headquartered near Pittsburgh, PA and have multiple locations throughout the Eastern United States.
We receive an order from doctors and their staff, verify the products are covered by the patient’s insurance, the supplies are shipped to them, and we bill their insurance.

Your Responsibilities
As a Documentation Specialist, you will join a dedicated team focused on making sure patients receive the medical supplies prescribed by their health care provider.
Your future position responsibilities will include the following.
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a commitment to exceptional customer service in all interactions with customers, vendors and employees.
Adhere to established workflows to ensure timely follow-up on assigned accounts.
Communicate with patients, physician offices and internal teams to obtain required information and documentation for insurance billing.
Research documentation discrepancies or issues and work them through to resolution.
Clearly communicate documentation-related issues to sales representatives or appropriate CHC Solutions team members.
Proactively follow up on outstanding documentation until received and orders are billable, ensuring timely filing deadlines are met.
Respond promptly to all customer calls and written inquiries.
Collaborate with customers and the sales team to resolve account-related concerns as needed.
Maintain compliance with all CHC Solutions payment policies, procedures and patient protocols, as well as applicable government regulations and professional standards, including voluntary compliance plans.

Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and accurately, both verbally and in writing.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
