Test Engineer (093929)

Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for software development efforts: Liaise with internal teams of developers and product managers to identify system requirements. Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Create organized and comprehensive automated tests in automated framework and upload for other testers to use. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs. Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts. Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Position is 100% remote.

3 years of experience (or 5 years experience with Bachelor’s degree) in software quality assurance/testing.

Must include some experience with:

- QuickTest Professional or Unified Functional Testing for test automation

- Visual Studio Version Control

- SQL

- Clear Quest for defect management

- Excel (Macros)

- Linux

- User Acceptance Testing

- Database Testing

Master’s OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.; foreign equivalents accepted.
