Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator with at least one year of medical administrative experience to join our growing team.

This role is essential to daily operations and serves as a central communication hub between therapists, patients, families, and physician offices. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and document verbal orders from physician offices

Manage, process, and upload incoming referrals

Communicate effectively with therapists, patients, families, and healthcare providers

Answer inbound calls and place outbound calls to physician offices

Prepare, receive, and distribute faxes

Create and format letters, memos, and other correspondence

Upload signed documents and maintain accurate patient records

Monitor and respond to emails, routing messages appropriately

Maintain and update spreadsheets using Google Suite tools

What We’re Looking For

Experience

Minimum 1 year of medical office or healthcare administrative experience required.

Skills

Strong organizational, clerical, and time-management abilities with exceptional attention to detail.

Communication

Professional phone etiquette and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Technology

Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms) required.
