ITS, Expert, Software Architect
30 month contract
Interview: In-person
Work model: 50% telecommuting, 50% Office per week
--- Project Description ---
The Software Architect will design, architect, develop and
implement PORTS projects for Office of Parks Recreation and
Historic Preservation (OPRHP) agency. Software Architect will
collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to
translate requirements into effective, scalable application.
--- Day-to-Day Tasks ---
1. Architect, develop and maintain REST APIs and
backend services using .NET 8/10, C#, ASP.NET and Entity
Framework.
2. Design, architect, optimize complex T-SQL queries,
stored procedures, functions, views and triggers in SQL Server.
3. Create DDL and DML scripts and migrate to lower and
production database.
4. Design and document all components of approved
application solutions including integrations and prepare
technical specifications, document process flows.
5. Participate in all phases of the Secure Software
Development Life Cycle (SSDLC), ensuring compliance with
security and quality standards.
6. Design and develop reports using SSRS to integrate
with application.
7. Design and develop SSIS packages to automate the
data extract and transfers.
8. Use GIT version control for application code and
document repository, code reviews and run CI/CD pipelines for
automated builds, test and deployments; manage work items.
--- Required Qualifications ---
• 84 months of experience in application architecture, design,
developing projects and interfaces using backend services/REST
APIs with Microsoft .NET Core 8/10, C#, Entity Framework; frontend
with Angular, HTML/CSS, Bootstrap.
• 84 months experience in architect SQL Server database design and
development including tables, stored procedures, triggers, views
and functions for relational databases.
• 84 months experience designing and developing reports using
SSRS, and ETL packages using SSIS to automate data extraction
and transfer processes.
• 60 months of experience in CI/CD using tools like Azure DevOps
and performing tasks such as automated builds/pipelines and
creating work items.
• 60 months experience in creation of developing user guides and
technical documents based on business needs.
