You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader. Responsibilities
Manages and controls all scheduling data through industry-standard scheduling management software
Monitors compliance with contract specifications and Gilbane's Baseline Operations Playbook for 1-2 projects
Defines and documents project scope, guidelines, and coordination of resources to execute the project schedule
Determines the critical paths required to meet the overall project completion date, modifies critical paths based on prevailing conditions, and consults with project leadership teams to develop workarounds to overcome obstacles
Prepares monthly project schedule updates, including written narrative and custom reports as needed
Participates in logistical, delivery and trade work force planning with project personnel, and incorporates into a CPM schedule
Reads and translates Owner/CM contract to determine project scheduling deliverables
Analyzes schedule performance and recommends corrective actions to address delays or other issues
Assists the project team with schedule updating
Participates in regular jobsite walks with the project team
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
2-6 years relevant experience
Previous hyperscale data center field construction experience is highly desired
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and project management methodologies
Knowledge of scheduling methodologies and techniques including
Familiarity with project delivery methods such as Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and Construction Management
Proficient in Document Control and other industry standard software
Proficient in scheduling software
Ability to conduct pull planning sessions with subcontractors and owners
Ability to write all forms of professional correspondence
Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.
The pay ranges from $83,200-$120,120 plus benefits and retirement program.
