Responsibilities
Define and execute IT Platform strategy covering DevOps, Cloud, automation, and modernization initiatives.
Oversee day-to-day platform operations, including system deployment, upgrades, monitoring, incident and problem management, security, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.
Transform software development practices into a Continuous Delivery–driven SDLC in collaboration with development and QA teams.
Drive infrastructure efficiency through automation, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Manage total cost of ownership of IT platforms and initiate cost optimization and savings initiatives.
Ensure compliance with BSP regulations by maintaining updated policies, standards, and documentation in coordination with Compliance and Security teams.
Collaborate cross-functionally and with external vendors to resolve issues and deliver platform enhancements and operational improvements.
Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Monitor platform performance, report KPIs, gather customer feedback, and implement continuous process improvements.
Lead, develop, and manage platform teams, ensuring strong engagement, upskilling, and succession planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunications), or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, and/or Cloud technologies, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing DevOps and Cloud platforms and teams.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in software development lifecycle best practices, continuous integration and delivery, automated deployment, patching, releases, and infrastructure-as-code.
Proficiency in CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, SVN, Ansible, Sonar, Selenium, and similar technologies.
Experience with containerization and container orchestration platforms.
Proven experience working with Cloud technologies, with strong background knowledge in AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Advanced AWS or Microsoft Azure certifications and other DevOps/Cloud certifications are preferred.
Experience using open-source tools for file processing, reporting, workflow, and automation.
Demonstrated ability to manage platform operations, cost optimization, risk management, and compliance with BSP regulations.
Strong people management, strategic planning, change management, and project management skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage senior management, technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
ITIL v3/v4 Service Management certification is an advantage.
