Role Description We’re looking for a Salon Coordinator to join our team at Solo Salon in Chicago’s West Loop.
We’re open to both part-time and full-time applicants as we find the best fit for our team.
This position is primarily responsible for coordinating client arrival and departure within the salon, maintaining a register for all services provided in the salon, opening and/or closing the salon to set standards.
Handling all communication through text platforms, email, and phone to set the salon up for ultimate success and presentation.
Key ResponsibilitiesGreeting clients upon arrival and departure, ensuring a great experience.Booking, rescheduling, canceling appointments for clients.Ensuring policy forms are signed and credit cards are stored for all booked appointments and accountability is held in this area.Training new hires.Coordinate appointment setting and cancellation on our text platform, Numa, via phone and all morning/evening duties are carried out as described.First point of contact to handle customer dissatisfaction and partner with Salon Manager/Director for resolution.Responsible for receiving and maintaining inventory counts while keeping the shelves presentable, stocked, clean, and organized.Responsible for participating in external and internal marketing/promotions/gift card sales (marketing may include social media content creation).Responsible for participating in the presentation of salon by sweeping, maintaining retail area, cleaning in areas necessary, inventory duties, etc.Also may be required to perform other related duties as requested including, but not limited to, completing special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required.
