Technician II

The Panther Group is seeking a skilled Technician II for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a leading manufacturing and production facility in Elgin, OK. This role is ideal for hands-on technicians with mechanical aptitude, assembly experience, and the ability to work from schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation. Key Responsibilities

Perform design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies

Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions, layouts, and defined plans

Utilize manufacturing test development and diagnostic equipment

Coordinate with engineers for task setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and rework activities

Conduct quality testing and inspections to ensure compliance with specifications

Assist in developing and improving manufacturing processes, methods, and procedures

Support process improvements, data collection, and research activities

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

1+ year of relevant hands-on mechanical, manufacturing, or technician experience

Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, layouts, and technical instructions

Comfortable using basic hand tools and test equipment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must pass drug screen and background check

Preferred Qualifications

Prior assembly experience

Military vehicle experience or defense manufacturing background

Pay up to $23.99 per hour DOE
