A boutique long-term care home, nestled in the breathtaking Rocky Mountains of BC, is seeking a dynamic Administrator / Director of Care to lead our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Strategic Leadership: Provide operational oversight and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care and services.

· Culture Champion: Foster a workplace that embodies our Mission, Vision, and Values, emphasizing compassion, innovation, and continuous improvement.

· Quality Oversight: Lead initiatives to enhance resident care, quality improvement, and compliance with clinical standards and regulations.

· Team Collaboration: Build strong relationships with interdisciplinary teams and external partners to achieve excellence in seniors’ care.

· Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets, contracts, and service partner performance while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

· Eligible for Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse

· Proven leadership (3+ years) experience in long-term care or healthcare management.

· Strong knowledge of clinical standards, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement processes.

· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage staff, residents, families, and stakeholders.

· Experience in managing budgets, contracts, union relations, and service partnerships.

· A commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

· Experience with innovative care models or approaches to elder care; Familiarity with LEADS capabilities (Lead Self, Engage Others, Achieve Results, Develop Coalitions, Systems Transformation).
