Title: Machine Operator- Tear 1
FLSA: Non-Exempt
General Summary:
As a Machine Operator, you will be trained on how to operate the Hairpin machine along with various other duties. Your primary goal is to set up machine to order and to observe copper parts as they are being produced to ensure proper quality(length).
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Cleaning, stacking, and moving copper
Identify, confirm, and prioritize work to be performed
Learn to set up machinery and perform tool changes as needed
Learn how to perform changeovers
Load programs/inputs into the machine control
Learn how to perform daily PMs on machinery and equipment used
Use proper tools on the machine
Bunch, label, and stage parts for the next manufacturing process
Practice exceptional housekeeping

Job Qualifications:
Experience: Machine operator experience is preferred
Forklift experience preferred (will certify in-house)
Blueprint reading skills
The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions
Detailed oriented
Computer skill
Good communication skills
General labor skills
Physical Requirements for the job
Ability to move at least 50lbs
Ability to stand and use hand tools 8-10hrs per day
Wear the necessary PPE for the position
