Work Arrangement
This role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the U.S., with the exception of candidates residing within 50 miles of a GM hub. If you are located within that radius of our hubs in Mountain View, CA, Warren, MI, or Austin, TX, a hybrid schedule requiring onsite work three days a week will be expected.
The Role
Join GM's People Analytics Center of Excellence as a dynamic, data-driven People Analytics Specialist. In this role, you will partner with People Analytics Consultants, contributing to various business areas by providing actionable insights that guide strategic talent decisions, enhance organizational effectiveness, and improve the overall employee experience. You will utilize your analytical talents and HR data expertise to advance our analytics capabilities, enabling data-driven decisions across the organization.

Responsibilities
Analyze complex people data to deliver clear, actionable insights that support strategic talent decisions across multiple business units.
Independently determine the best analytical approach for projects while collaborating closely with People Analytics Consultants.
Effectively present findings and recommendations to business leaders in a compelling and accessible manner.
Support initiatives related to organizational health, hiring and retention, workforce planning, employee experience, and more.
Contribute to enhancing People Analytics solutions by sharing valuable feedback and innovative ideas.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing initiatives that create the most significant impact for the business.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in client-facing People Analytics or Human Capital Consulting.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inferential statistics (e.g., correlation, regression), with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Experience with analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, R, or Python (advanced tools preferred but not mandatory).
Solid understanding of HR data and employee lifecycle processes including talent acquisition, development, workforce planning, and employee feedback.
Adept at leveraging diverse internal and external data sources to generate data-driven insights that inform strategic talent decisions.
Exceptional communication skills, with the capability to present complex findings to business leaders effectively.
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, IO Psychology) or HR-related discipline is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and adapting to shifting priorities without compromising quality.
