Key Responsibilities:

Support recruiting initiatives by posting job vacancies, reviewing applications, conducting initial phone screenings, and coordinating interview schedules.

Provide timely and clear information to job applicants, employees, and hiring managers.

Create and share new hire announcements, welcoming our newest team members.

Maintain organized and precise employee files.

Schedule and coordinate comprehensive new hire training sessions.

Ensure accuracy and completion of all corporate documentation.

Track and communicate crucial HR metrics, such as safety incidents, employee leave (FMLA), and training initiatives.

Participate in safety committee meetings and compile detailed meeting minutes.

Act as the primary point of contact for employee updates such as address changes and W-4 submissions.

Facilitate effective employee communication through our intranet and bulletin boards to keep staff informed.

Assist in planning and organizing engaging company social events, including team lunches, holiday celebrations, and employee appreciation activities.

Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding all employee records.

Manage benefits administration and associated tasks efficiently.

Oversee the annual employee benefits renewal process.

Support the development and execution of incentive and recognition programs.

Cultivate a positive workplace culture by actively engaging with employees and addressing their concerns.

Coordinate employee satisfaction surveys to assess workplace morale.

Assist in designing and implementing employee retention strategies.

Manage employee claims processes, including FMLA and unemployment issues.

Contribute to the creation and regular review of job descriptions to ensure clarity.

Ensure compliance with HR regulations, including labor law postings and internal audits.

Perform diverse related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Human Resources or related field, or 1-2 years of HR experience.

Proficient in HR systems with solid functional HR knowledge.

Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Detail-oriented and self-motivated individual.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to adapt to new software.

Dedicated to staying informed about labor laws and disciplinary procedures.

Able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Experience utilizing an HRIS system is a plus.

Ability to recruit for a variety of positions, including skilled and technical roles.

Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
